COURRIER POUR NATZVILLER

Voici deux courriers pour Natzviller près de Rothau, tristement célèbre pour le camp du Struthof qui surplombe la commune.

Here are two mails for Natzviller near Rothau, notorious for the Struthof Camp which overhangs the municipality.

Zweimal Post für Natzviller nahe Rothau, traurigerweise für das Lager vom Struthof bekannt, das über der Gemeinde liegt.

La lettre est envoyée du Havre, date du 12 octobre 1882 et arrive à Rothau le 14 octobre. La carte, me semble t-il, est envoyée de Limoges le 10 août 1880 et il n'y a pas de cachet d'arrivée.

The letter is sent by Le Havre, dates October 12th, 1882 and arrives on October 14th. The card, seems it to me, is sent by Limoges on August 10th, 1880 and there is no stamp of arrival.

Der Brief ist von Le Havre gesandt, datiert vom 12. Oktober 1882 und kommt am 14. Oktober in Rothau an. Die Karte scheint mir, wurde von Limoges am 10. August 1880 gesandt.

Le courrier est adressé à Monsieur Jacquel. La famille Jacquel est issue du canton de Berne et elle est venue s'installer près de Rothau. Cette famille de manufacturiers et industriels du textile ont créé et exploité des usines de filage et de tissage dans la vallée de la Bruche.

The mail is sent to Mister Jacquel. The Jacquel family arises from canton of Bern and it came to settle down near Rothau. This family of textile manucturers created and exploited the factories of spinning and weaving in the valley of Bruche.

Die Post ist an Herrn Jacquel geschickt worden. Die Familie Jacquel stammt aus dem Bezirk von Bern und wurde nahe Rothau sesshaft. Diese Familie der Textilindustrie schuff und nutzte Fabriken zum spinnen und weben im tal der Bruche.
